About Me

Born and raised in rural West Virginia, I had an intrinsic appreciation for being outside and traversing mountainous and disorienting terrain. At a fairly young age, I had started shooting my Dad’s Pentax k1000 and quickly fell in love with film photography. I have since had the opportunity to explore various national parks around the US to capture stunning landscapes on medium format film. Interspersed with photography, I also am a medical doctor in the process of ER residency in New England.

My Gear

After retiring the Pentax k1000, I’m shooting a Mamiya 645 Super with an 80mm lens. Medium format is one of the only way to capture the stunning views in our National Parks. I also shoot with a Leica M6 and use a 35mm lens. A combination of black and white, color negative, and color positive slide film is used throughout my portfolio. Feel free to ask about any specific film stock used.
